The workbook that helps you support your child with managing their big feelings, ensuring they feel heard and understood! This A5 workbook encourages children to think about their anger, it’s triggers and how to manage it. Identifying feelings, then writing or drawing about them, can help children process and manage these big feelings.
My REALLY angry book is a space for children of approx 9 – 16 years old to identify what makes them angry.
It includes activities that develop self awareness related to anger:
- describing anger with words, encouraging the brain to start understanding the emotion
- identifying physical responses to anger
- identifying anger triggers
- discovering feelings that lead to anger
- identifying appropriate angry ‘actions’
- learn to turn negative thoughts associated with anger into positive ones
- create anger action plans
- anger scales
- anger iceberg
After the activities, the workbook contains 2 weeks of structured journal space that promotes self reflection.
The last section of the book contains free space to express anger through writing, drawing or doodling. The book encourages children to use these pages as a calming technique to prevent angry outbursts or as a reflective space of their own.
This 122 page workbook is made from 120gsm uncoated FSC quality paper and 300gsm silk card covers. It is A5 in size.
My REALLY angry book by Ink & Scribbles is for general use and guidance only. It does not in anyway replace the advice and help of a medical professional or therapist. Please, always see a medical professional if you have concerns about your child’s mental health.
