our story

Hi, I’m Jemma!

I am married with 3 children; 2 boys & a girl.

My background is very much within customer service, having studied my degree in Hospitality Management. My career started in hospitality, organising and running events before moving to retail. The reality of working in industries that are now 24/7 and having a family started to take its toll which is when I left and started Little Active People with Gill.

Like all mums, I have my ups and downs: sleep has been a huge factor with my children and it is still the biggest issue in our house. Plus, being able to be on the same page as my husband is often a struggle!

I’m a talker and I believe it’s good to talk… I had a miscarriage in 2017. It was really tough, a rollercoaster of emotions and one that never leaves you! We were then very lucky to have Max, our rainbow baby, and our silver lining to lockdown 2020!

One last thing – I give great hugs and am always here to listen and give one! x

our story

Hi, I’m Gill!

I am married with 2 girls. I’m a proud Yorkshire lass, with my parents still living up there whilst my sister has moved to Pembrokeshire in Wales. So whilst I don’t get to see my family as often as I’d like, we do get to at least visit some beautiful parts of the UK!

My background is retail at Boots (if you look in my cupboards you can still see that I worked in a shop!) and operational management at Heathrow Express, where I became a bit of a railway geek!! 😂 I am very methodical and love working my way through my to do lists….does anyone else add to their list with something they’ve already done but wasn’t on the list just so they have the satisfaction of ticking it off?! Find it’s the only way I can keep on top of juggling everything going on!

One of the most important things I’ve been working on over the past few years is to make sure that I have some Me Time and not to feel guilty about it – it really does help me be a better mum! So make sure you schedule some You Time onto your to do list! 😉
